MRD Spirits was created by David Cordoba, known in the industry as Mr Daiquiri. After decades working across the bars, global spirits, education, and luxury hospitality, he built MRD from a simple belief: rum should have structure, clarity, and purpose. Every blend is shaped to perform in the glass, not just to look good on a back bar.
The Stellar, French-style white rum. Bright, dry and aromatic, built for Daiquiris, highballs and lighter cocktails where the rum still needs to speak.
The Lovers, Spanish-style gold rum. Balanced, smooth and versatile, built for Daiquiris, Mojitos, Rum Negronis and easy drinking.
La Forza, British-style aged rum. Bold, structured and powerful, built for stirred drinks, richer serves and slower moments.
MRD Spirits blends across origins, stills and styles to build a house character with purpose. The idea is not to imitate a single distillery. It is to create rums with structure, clarity and balance, shaped by someone who understands how rum behaves in a glass, in a cocktail and behind a bar.
MRD Spirits is built on clear information and honest flavour. We do not use shortcuts to make the rum sweeter, darker, or easier to sell. The character comes from the liquid itself: the origins, the stills, the casks, and the blend.

FROM THE BOTTLE TO THE SERVE
Each rum in the MRD Spirits range has a clear place in the glass. The Stellar brings brightness and lift, The Lovers brings balance and warmth, and La Forza brings depth and structure. From Daiquiris and highballs to stirred drinks and slower serves, the range was built to move naturally from the back bar into the drink.
Rum branding had become predictable. Galleons, palm trees, pirates, and the same tired story of buried treasure and tropical escape. We looked at that shelf and decided to do the opposite.
The tarot gave us a visual language with real depth, tied to our family and to the way we think about blending itself. Every label is built to be looked at properly, not just glanced at and forgotten. The artwork carries meaning, the colours belong to each archetype, and the whole design signals what’s true of the liquid inside. This is rum that doesn’t look like anything else, because it isn’t like anything else.
